Dr. Richard McFadden earned his Bachelor of Science kinesiology (honours) degree from McMaster University in Hamilton. He then attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. During his chiropractic education, he saw how complimentary the massage therapy and chiropractic professions were to one another. It is because of this that he went on to attend the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy earning his massage therapy designation. He also attended the McMaster Neurofunctional Acupuncture program to become competent in administering acupuncture treatments.
During Dr. Richards’ education, he worked extensively with the general and athletic population. He had the privilege of working with an OJHL team (hockey) in Etobicoke while in Toronto. While at McMaster University, he played offensive line for the McMaster Marauders football team. He is still active in the football community, coaching and being the team chiropractor for the Niagara Regional Raiders Football team (Canadian Junior Football League).
Dr. Richard performed a treatment outreach in the Dominican Republic in April 2015, treating patients in that area that would not normally have access to this form of care. He also has been involved in research, presenting his original research to the Chiropractic community in March 2015.
Dr. Richard’s approach to chiropractic care includes a comprehensive treatment consisting of diversified chiropractic adjustments, muscle release therapy, rehabilitation and acupuncture. He enjoys working with all populations. He has treated patients as old as 94 and as young as 9. He has a special interest in treating people with an athletic background, as well as patients that just want to improve their quality of life and get back to what matters most to them. He looks forward to helping you achieve your goals.
