Chiropractor
Dr. Alicia Castelhano is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and Wilfrid Laurier University where she earned Dean’s list honours. Dr. Alicia obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Health and Contemporary Studies, focusing on epidemiology, public health, and the philosophy of science.
Chiropractic care is responsible for Dr. Alicia experiencing tremendous relief from a painful and debilitating injury. Inspired by this event, a great determination was generated to help others alleviate pain and to maximize function. Dr. Castelhano had her motivation to pursue the Doctor of Chiropractic Program.
Dr. Alicia aims to improve her patients’ overall health and wellbeing through a variety of treatment methods. These include: diversified spinal and extremity manipulations and mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, exercise prescription and rehabilitation, orthotics, compression stockings, and more.
In her spare time, Dr. Alicia enjoys spin class, performing resistance training, and taking long scenic walks. She receives ongoing Chiropractic care to improve and maintain her own health. An avid reader who is fascinated by history; she frequently peruses bookstores, libraries, and museums.
Dr. Alicia is looking forward to welcoming new patients and together helping them achieve their own unique health goals!
